They Can’t Get In To Heaven On Our Coattail

It’s terribly hard to see our kids and loved ones walk a walk outside of their purpose. So many times I just want to grab them up, bring them home, and keep them protected from all of the enemies plots against them. but God wouldn’t even want me to do that.
God has given us free will. Each of us a chance to make a decision for ourselves. One that each of us must make on an individual level. This is why it’s imperative that we raise our children to know God! They have to have an early encounter with God. So few turn to God after they are grown.
Being raised in church does not guarantee a person to have a real relationship with Christ or not to backslide into the world. But it DOES guarantee a root seeded deep in their soul and they will always know the truth. Even if they choose not to believe it.
That’s where as a parent or loved one, we must pray for them. We must intercede on their behalf to our Heavenly Father to keep them safe under His beloved wings whatever the cost. Prayer and fasting, sacrificing, for our loved ones moves mountains!
Watching our family member move farther from God as they find their way in this world is heart breaking. We have to know that we serve a God that loves them even more than we do! That praying and fasting makes a difference for them. We can rest in the assurance God is working on their behalf and there is nothing else we can do.
Sometimes loving from a distance is the best thing for them. We mustn't push them, beat them over the head with scriptures. God has to change their hearts, call them to Him. We should be praying specificly for their hearts to be tender to God’s call, their eyes to see the truth of God, and their desires to change to God’s desires for their live
My prayer for my lost loved ones:
Father God You are a good Father and love us unconditionally! Father You created us to love You and I’m so grateful! You are a gracious and loving God! Full of mercy and grace for us! Thank You for never leaving us even when we deserve it.
God I bring to you again today my loved ones that are lost (name them by name) and I ask that You talk to them. That You open their eyes to see the truth, that their hearts be tender to your calling, that their spiritual ears hear from You and the love You have for them.
Teach them God to walk in their purpose and that true Joy that comes with it.
Father God please make sure they are saved before You take them off this world.
(Scary part of prayer but necessary) Father, do whatever has to be done to save them. Even if You have to use me, but save them God.
Thank You for hearing my pleas, I rest in the assurance You will do as I’ve prayed, and every opportunity to change will be given to them.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen (Let it be so)
